Boat measurement for wing rails
Please be aware that the wing rail connection requires the very narrow gap between the corner casting and the side beam, just above the forward pylon. This is where the trampoline slides into the forward crossbeam and the side beam.
Nearly all types of Hobie 14 and 16 tramps include this small gap.
See photos below of typical configurations. Only a narrow gap is needed to pass the flat hinging mechanism up thru the gap. In rare cases, the tramp design is too tight for the pass thru, although adjustments are possible to create the gap.
We highly recommend that you email us one photo of your forward corner tramp gap situation before purchase. We can advise if any adustment is needed. If your trampoline currently has no opening, it is usually easy to loosen the forward trampoline corner and slide a portion of it out of the track to create the small gap. (The rear corners always have a wide gap, not a concern.)
Basic requirement = a narrow gap between tramp and side beam above the forward pylon. That's normal from 1970s to today!
Please email one photo similar to those shown below to info@catwinger.com.

Open forward corner, mosty unobstructed, aside from the line from grommet to side beam. Here forward corner casting is at upper left and side beam is lower left.

Closed forward corner, obstructed, but able to slide some tramp out of the track to create a gap. Here forward corner casting is upper right and side beam is right edge.

Open forward corner, unobstructed. Here forward corner casting is lower right and side beam is lower left.

Open forward corner, unobstructed. Here forward corner casting is right edge and side beam is lower edge.
